Photography Basics: Mastering Manual Mode

(3 customer reviews)

$19.00

When I got my first DSLR camera and started taking photos, I was 100% clueless. I knew that I loved having beautiful photos, I knew that I loved taking photos, but I did not know how to take beautiful photos.

Does this sound familiar?

The key to taking stellar images with your DSLR camera is to shoot in manual mode. This means that you are in control of all the settings, from the amount of light you let it, to your focus point, to achieving the creamy bokeh and blurry backgrounds we all love (or not!).

Shooting in manual mode opens up every possibility imaginable and will let your creativity shine… or even just help you find that creativity.

Obviously you’re a fantastic writer but you are so good at making things “make sense” to the ignorant!!! Breaking it down and making it so understandable! Thank you!!!

This book takes what seems too complicated to possibly understand, to mastery of the concepts without the big scary photography words being thrown around with no explanation. It reads like a friend explaining their craft to the absolute beginner… which is exactly what it is!

The best part is, it can download straight to your phone for easy on-the-go clarification when you get f-stop and ISO all muddled in your brain.

Can’t tell you how much I appreciate the concise way you explain things. This is a great place to start if you’re feeling overwhelmed by a new camera, as I was. I look forward to putting what I’ve learned here into action. Thank you!
