Ginger (CD GINGER CHIC) is a 14 year old maiden mare that we are breed leasing from my best friend in Montana. She is a personable mare, but has a habit of obsessing over the other horses whether that attention is welcome or not. She’s beyond pleased to now have someone it’s appropriate to obsess over.
She started waxing in the early afternoon of Sunday, May 23rd and was in active labor late that evening. She delivered a healthy stud colt with the longest legs at around 9:30 that night.
He is by far our slowest to figure his legs out (but they’re so long, can you blame him?!) and because of that, he wasn’t much for running around right away. Which I think Ginger appreciates.
He’s fancy though. We think he’s going to be quite the ladies man…
