Summer contacted me wanting a photo session with her and her husband and their dogs and horses… and I don’t know if you know this or not, but that is RIGHT up my alley!
This was a ‘travel session’ for both of us, meeting somewhat in the middle and that’s always a bit nerve wracking for all parties involved. Especially when you have iffy weather in the forecast like we had. The little ‘wind’ symbol was hanging out in the forecast all afternoon and evening AND some rain clouds moved in throughout the day. In fact, Summer called me when they were leaving because it was pouring rain on them and she was worried we would have to reschedule. I fretted for a minute but all I could see amongst the swaying trees was blue sky so I told her “I really think we’re going to get lucky and it’s going to be fine!”. And then I prayed.
But boy, oh boy, did God come through for us! We had a beautiful evening. We were sheltered from the wind in the location we had chosen, we had a spectacular sunset with soft, golden light. And we had so. much. fun.
