I texted Kelly the other day, “How many sessions does a photographer have to do before they won’t be nervous anymore? Asking for a friend, of course.” He said 101.5 and I thought, “Guess I better just get used to the nerves.”

But that got me curious, wondering how many sessions I have actually done for people in my photography career.

By my (conservative) count, tonight’s session will be my 95th.

Holy cats, you guys. 95?!

This revelation led me to do some thinking, and I’ve decided that I will likely always be nervous and it’s because I place the expectation on myself to do a good job and (hopefully) please my client. So, the nerves probably aren’t a bad thing, it means I care.

Anyway, here are some photos from sessions 93 & 94 (how do I stop counting now?!).

WELCOME TO THE BLOG

Fueled by equal parts horse hair and passion, I spend my days capturing the kinds of images that make you stop, smile and ask time to please slow down. Your story, your love, is beautiful and I can’t wait to capture it in images you will treasure for years to come. I believe in real moments and heartfelt conversations on the front porch. In the kinds of images that remind you of the joy that can be found in the simplest of moments together.
