Kris and I have been communicating via Instagram for quite some time, despite being fairly local to each other. When she reached out wanting to book a session with her sweet (and super photogenic) gelding, I was super excited!
Midday on the day of our session a massive storm rolled through with high winds and an unusual downpour of rain. The sun came back out in the afternoon but it was still pretty windy – I asked Kris if she was comfortable having our session or if she wanted to reschedule and she was all in, let’s do this!
I’m so glad we went for it, we always get the most beautiful light after a storm and it was so wonderful finally meeting another Instagram friend and I hope she cherishes these images for years to come.
